Does Your Business Look Like This?
I get asked all the time from people “How can I make money online fast and easy”…
They see me doing it, and they ‘want in’. But this question is the start of a horrible experience.
To many people get into Internet Marketing because they figure it’s an easy way out. They figure they can sit back, relax, and have a billion email subscribers, and millions of dollars rolling in – in no time flat…
And often times I just shake my head and walk away.
Another question I get a lot is: “When do I know it’s the right time to quit my job, and start working from home full time?”
And the answer I give them is when you have a business, and not just a hobby or a ’side job’.
That’s what a lot of people don’t get. Working from home is nice (as long as the kids are asleep), making money online is fantastic, but it’s still a ‘business’.
You have to adopt that mindset.
“I have a business, not just a website” – come on let’s say it one more time…
“I have a business, not just a website”…
It’s true. The people that struggle online are people who really don’t have a grasp what they are really doing. They jump into this industry looking to make some quick cash and they struggle miserably.
The people that succeed understand the fact that they have a business to run. They often times are doing the exact same thing as the people struggling, but they are succeeding.
What makes the difference between struggling and success then? Strong self-discipline and relentless action.
The person who struggles does a couple of articles, converts them into videos to distribute, and then rips the audio to create podcasts. Then they will bookmark them to a dozen or so places, submit rss feeds to some directories, and do a few blog posts all to drive traffic.
The person who succeeds does hundreds of articles, converts them into videos to distribute, and then rips the audio to create hundreds of podcasts, while socially bookmarking them thousands of times, and so on…
So again what makes the difference between struggling online and succeeding?
Strong self discipline, and relentless action taking.
One of the key principles I teach in the SEO Bully Method is “If you want to out sell the competition, then it’s as simple as out hustling them”.
But there’s a smart way to do it.
That brings me to my closing point: Successful Entrepreneurs should always be working ON their business, and not IN their business.
Which means your only job as a business owner is to think of ways to expand your business, and create systems that are easily duplicatable so that you can pass them off to someone else and move one to your primary responsibility…
Thinking of new ways to expand your business.
This is when hiring additional help, outsourcing, or even out-tasking comes into play.
Truly successful people are rich because they learn how to LEVERAGE their time, money, and resources vs. WORK their time, money, and resources.
Leverage works off the principles of multiplying the end result, while reducing the required amount of force needed to achieve that outcome.
Work means that you get out exactly what you put in, and if you stop putting in then you stop getting anything out.

Does Your Business Look Like This?
This is how I personally like to think of things, because it keeps me focused to continue in the success I found…
When generating traffic to a site. Imagine that each and every technique you do only brings in ‘ONE’ single visitor to your site.
For every article your write, you only get ‘ONE’ visitor. For every bookmark, just one lousy visitor.
To get one measly sale a day, you would most likely have to do a hundred actions a day.
With that said, are you doing enough right now in your business?
I like to keep thinking of things like this, because it really makes me force myself to constantly expand my business. If I want 10 sales a day then I would do a thousand actions.
I mean come one ok. Chances are that yes you will be getting more than one visitor a day off your marketing efforts, and that your conversions are better than 1%, but if you work off the ‘worst case scenario’ you’ll ALWAYS be happy with the end results.
But to get back to my original questions:
“How can I make money online fast and easy?” – Use leverage and pay someone to do it for you…
“When do I know it’s the right time to quit my job, and start working from home full time?” – When you can use leverage and pay someone to do it for you…
Getting to the point to where you don’t have to “go to work” to make money, even if that is for yourself, is a wonderful experience.
So start picking apart your business and see what you can start outsourcing, and then just outsource it. If you personally can do it for less than $2 an hour then do it I guess, but how much more money could you make if you had an extra five hours in a day?
Now with that said, would you be willing to invest $10 to pay someone $2 per hour and gain an extra five hours of work?
